Geschenke an das Meer – überbringt der Fluss (Gifts for the Sea - Delivered by the River)
An exhibition and activity in the context of TRAVEL ART - Archive / Vienna.
Gifts for the sea - the artist’s own gifts and those of invited friends and acquaintances - were collected during the exhibition in Luftbad / Vienna and laid out on planks.
Subsequent to the exhibition the planks and some collected driftwood were worked into a float and the gifts fastened on top of it, at the Winterhafen of the Danube in Vienna.
The float was launched on the 21st of February, 1987.
